For example, you need to know if the daycare facility closes down when the schools close down because of weather or if they are set up to take children that may only be at the facility before and after school all day long; otherwise, you will need to find an alternative childcare situation for days that the schools are closed due to weather or other things. Likewise, you are going to have to find out about school holidays and if you are going to have to make arrangements for the holidays. You should also check to see what kind of plans the daycare facility has for natural disasters, pandemics, and other uncontrollable disasters. Make sure that all those plans are clearly stated and that you know exactly what's going to happen and how you would get any notifications of changes to the plans or if something happens in the middle of the day that would cause the facility to close down.
